Kate Jerome
Kate Jerome has spent her career turning research into products and programs that bring people together across generations, as a publishing executive, author, entrepreneur, and advocate. In 2015, she was invited to join the inaugural class of Stanford University's Distinguished Careers Institute. She is currently an Ambassador for Stanford's Center on Longevity's New Map of Life program and a Distinguished Mentor for the University of Chicago's Leadership and Society Initiative. Kate is also the co-founder of Little Bridges, a company dedicated to sparking meaningful connection and conversations across generations. With over 150 published titles, including the recent Dear Grandkids, You're Welcomeand How to Write a Children's Picture Book, Kate has spent a lifetime championing the idea that stories are how we know each other. One of her favorite sayings: "Reading opens doors for kids, but conversations give them the courage to go through them.".
